Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) continually develops and revises coding and reimbursement policies and resources in response to rapidly changing medical technology and updates to the coding sets.
Our commitment is to update the provider community as coding and reimbursement policies and guidelines are added, adopted, and/or revised.
The Telehealth Services Policy will be updated within the next 10 business days to our provider website.

- Updated verbiage regarding modifier usage for telehealth services:
- Require appropriate telehealth modifiers
- If modifiers are not appended appropriately, the appropriate cost shares may not apply.
- Address store-and-forward services
- Add/clarify additional coverage language
- Require appropriate telehealth modifiers
