Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) continually develops and revises coding and reimbursement policies and resources in response to rapidly changing medical technology and updates to the coding sets. Our commitment is to update the provider community as coding and reimbursement policies and guidelines are added, adopted and/or revised.
The following coding and reimbursement policy updates will be reflected on the website within the next 30 days.
Note: The Hospice Fee schedules will be updated and posted to the Online Fee Schedule Portal.
Place of Service (POS) 55 – Sub Abuse RTC and 57 – Sub Abuse Fac update
Effective Jan. 1, 2027, for migrated members, POS 55 and 57 will not trigger the site of service (SOS) rate on the Physician Payment Schedule (PPS). Applicable PPS Fee Schedules will be updated and posted to the Online Fee Schedule Portal.
