High call volumes
Our member and provider services may be experiencing higher than normal call volumes from 12/22/25-1/9/26 due to a large number of staff being out of office. We encourage you to utilize alternative forms of communication including secured messaging through online Member Services and Availity Essentials Provider Portal.
BCBSND district offices will be closed to the public on Friday, Dec. 26.

As previously communicated by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), we transitioned clinician administered drug prior authorizations reviews to the Medical Pharmacy Solutions Team at Prime Therapeutics Management (Prime) on December 9, 2024. Prime prior authorization requests can be processed through GatewayPA.com.
BCBSND is informing providers that starting approximately July 12, 2025, multi-factor authentication will be added to GatewayPA.com. Coming soon an information banner will be posted on GatewayPA.com.
