Important Update: BCBSND Strategic Affiliation Effective – No Changes for Providers

Feb. 1, 2026, marks the effective date of the strategic affiliation between Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) and Cambia Health Solutions. For more information about this strategic affiliation, please visit www.bcbsnd.com/affiliation.

What does this mean for providers:

  • There are no immediate changes to how providers work with BCBSND insurance. You will continue to use the same processes and tools as you do today. 
  • Your usual contacts at BCBSND will remain in place. 
  • Members will retain their current coverage and continue to use their BCBSND insurance card as they do today. 
  • Your contracts with BCBSND will remain in effect.
